The Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce and the Denver Metro Small Business Development Center (SBDC) have joined forces to provide business training seminars to the Denver Metro area. Our seminars are one of our most popular services, attracting more than 1,800 individuals annually. The seminars offered through the DMCC and the SBDC are tailored to meet the needs of small and medium-sized businesses in both the start-up and growth phases. The individuals who attend our seminars are business owners and employees who will receive practical information, tools, ideas and resources that they can immediately apply in their businesses or on their jobs. The attendance to our seminars can range from 10-70 individuals. We can, however, accommodate more than 100 attendees.
Our seminars provide significant speaking opportunities for experienced business specialists. A speaking engagement at the DMCC/SBDC is an opportunity for your company to gain valuable exposure to the small business community – a potential source of business for you. In addition, it allows you to showcase your expertise and knowledge in your particular field.
We seek speakers who are currently operating in their field of expertise and can provide concrete 'how-to' information to our attendees, rather than high-level theory. Speaking opportunities at the Business Training Institute are highly coveted, thus competitive. Our speaking opportunities are on a volunteer basis only.
Requests for Proposals (RPFs) are distributed twice a year, in March and September. If you would like to be included in the RFP distribution list, please fill out the form below and you will receive the RFP the next time it is available.
